If you did not qualify for the stimulus check payment in 2008, it may not be too late. If you are now eligible and meet certain guidelines then you may receive a stimulus check payment.
To qualify you must meet certain criteria:

The amounts will vary depending on your family size and how you file. If you file single then you may get between $300.00 - $600.00. If you are filing jointly then you can get between $600.00 - $1,200.00. There is an additional payment of $300.00 for each qualifying child.
These amounts will decrease as income levels increase. If your income for 2008 exceeded $75,000 then your check will be decreased by 5% of your income that exceeded the income limits.
To claim this payment on your 2008 return you will need to use Form 1040A. You must fill out this form even if you normally do not file a return. This form is very simple and only asks for the minimum amount of information for you to file for a stimulus payment.
